About Abdul Ahad
I am a Materials Engineering graduate with a 2:1 classification and currently a Master's student in Artificial Intelligence & Applications, working towards achieving a First Class / Distinction. I have a strong academic foundation in mathematics, logic, and computing, which has allowed me to consistently support and teach fellow classmates throughout my undergraduate studies and now during my Master's. My interest in teaching comes from seeing how often students struggle—not because they lack ability, but because concepts are not explained in a way that suits them. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into clear, logical steps and adapting explanations to match how each student learns best. Teaching allows me to combine my academic strengths with my desire to help others grow in confidence and understanding. My aim is to make challenging subjects feel approachable, structured, and achievable, while helping students build skills that will benefit them far beyond exams.

I provide fully personalised online lessons in Mathematics, Trigonometry, Arithmetic, Logic, and Computing for students up to O-Level. My teaching approach is student-centred and adaptive — every lesson is tailored to the learner’s current level, school syllabus, strengths, and weak areas. I break down complex concepts into simple, intuitive steps, using real-life examples, visual explanations, and exam-focused practice so students truly understand why something works, not just how to memorise it. Lesson length is flexible based on the student’s needs, but I strongly prefer sessions of 45–60 minutes. From experience, concentration and information absorption drop beyond one hour, so lessons are structured for maximum focus, clarity, and efficiency, with regular pauses and revision where needed. I have extensive experience teaching fellow classmates during my undergraduate studies and continuing through my Master's, which has sharpened my ability to explain difficult topics clearly, patiently, and in multiple ways until the concept clicks. These lessons are ideal for school students up to O-Level, typically aged 11–18, whether they need help building strong foundations, improving grades, preparing for exams, or gaining confidence in problem-solving. My goal is not just better marks, but strong understanding, logical thinking, and long-term academic confidence.
