About Fiona

Having taken tuitions outside of school as a school-going kid, I know how a student might feel overwhelmed and confused. It can be too much information at one go. But it doesn't have to be that hard. We can take it step by step, with little information that can be digested at a time. In this competitive environment, you might wonder if that's enough, but what I believe is that even if you learn just a little, learning it in such a way that you understand it completely and won't forget it again is more meaningful than learning a lot and not remembering it the next day.

About the lesson

Typical lessons involve going through basics of the concepts that the student needs help in, making sure the student is able to understand and then going into more example questions and application based problem solving. Lessons will involve a conversational approach, not a lecturing approach. Demonstrations, examples and analogies will be given for the student to easily grasp the concepts. More example problems and homework questions can also be solved to further make the student familiar and confident to solve them on their own. The topics covered in the class can will be discussed/ informed beforehand so that both parties can be prepared the lesson and utilize time efficiently.
