I’m David, a patient and reliable math tutor with a strong background in logic, problem-solving, and applied mathematics from my work as a software engineer. About the lesson

My approach to teaching math is centered on building understanding rather than memorization. From there, we review key ideas, walk through examples together, and then shift to guided problem-solving so you can build confidence doing the work on your own. I make sure every session ends with clarity: you’ll know exactly what you learned, why it works, and how to approach similar problems in the future.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to translate complicated ideas into plain, accessible language. I’m David—a software engineer by profession—which means I use math daily in applied ways, especially through logic, patterns, and problem decomposition. This helps me connect classroom concepts to real-world intuition, making math feel less abstract and more purposeful. I’ve worked with students at many levels, and I’m good at creating an environment where questions are encouraged and learning feels steady and supportive.
