I believe that the most effective way to maximize the effectiveness of a teaching session is having teachers and students play an equally active role in the learning process. Running Lessons that last 60 minutes not only gives the chance for the Student and Teacher to be interactive and lead the lesson together, but also prevents the lessons from being too long and less information being absorbed.
I have personal experiences tutoring Classmates and mentoring students in my high school and University years, and have offered advice to fellow students in my role as Mathematics Student Ambassador at Queen Mary University of London
