About Lara
I am a very patient and friendly person who enjoys helping students to improve their understanding of maths and biology. I studied mathematics at Leeds University and would now like to transfer my knowledge of the subject onto others, helping them to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for Maths.

I provide clear explanations and like to break down a solution so that it is more understandable for the students, as well as preparing them for their exam questions. By focusing on the basic concepts and then progressing onto some more interactive problem solving, this allows students to stay engaged throughout the lesson. A typical lesson would last an hour, but this can be adjusted based on the student's preference. I have a Mathematics degree and an A* in A-Level Biology. My goal is to help others to gain more confidence in these fields and therefore improving their approach and understanding of the subject.
