About Owen
My interest in mathematics started when I discovered how numerical patterns and logical thinking could solve complex problems. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue higher education in mathematics, where I completed a Master's Degree in Mathematics. During my studies I explored topics such as algebra, calculus, and mathematical reasoning, which helped me understand the depth and importance of the subject.
During my 10 years of teaching, I have worked with many students who had different experiences with mathematics. Some learners were confident, while others needed more support to build their understanding. My teaching approach focuses on patience and clear explanations so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning step by step.
Outside teaching, I enjoy solving mathematical puzzles and reading about interesting developments in mathematical science. These activities help me keep my curiosity active and bring engaging examples into lessons. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I see students gain confidence and realize they are capable of solving problems they once thought were too difficult.

My mathematics lessons are designed to help students clearly understand how numbers and formulas work together. Many learners feel mathematics is difficult because they try to memorize steps without understanding the ideas behind them. In my lessons, we begin with essential topics such as number operations, fractions, percentages, and basic algebra. I explain these concepts slowly and carefully so students can see how each rule connects to the next idea.
As students develop confidence, lessons move toward algebraic equations, geometry concepts, and structured problem solving. I guide learners through examples that show how mathematical methods can be applied step by step. Practice questions are included in every lesson so students can strengthen their calculation skills and understand how different problem types require different strategies. Mistakes are reviewed carefully so learners understand how to improve their reasoning.
My goal is to help students build patience and confidence when solving mathematical problems. Lessons encourage organized thinking and logical reasoning. Over time students begin to approach mathematics more calmly and with greater confidence. Mathematics becomes a subject that supports clear thinking and helps students develop strong analytical skills.
