About Zara
I am a mathematics tutor with 8 years of teaching experience and a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics. My academic background trained me to appreciate mathematics as a structured and logical language. Over the years, I have helped students replace anxiety with confidence through patient and clear instruction. My teaching philosophy centers on understanding, encouragement, and adaptability. I adjust explanations to match each learner’s pace and ensure concepts are fully understood before moving forward. I believe confidence grows when learners truly understand how and why methods work. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with mathematics through problem-solving and continued learning. This keeps my lessons thoughtful and relevant. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because it empowers learners to trust their thinking. Supporting students as they grow more confident with numbers is something I deeply enjoy.
