About Ishita
My fascination with mathematics started with a curiosity for patterns, logical reasoning, and problem-solving. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, specializing in algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving strategies. Over 8 years, I have guided students from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, fostering intellectual growth, confidence, and mastery. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, independent thinking, and practical application of mathematical concepts. I tailor lessons to individual abilities. Beginners strengthen arithmetic, number sense, and foundational skills with guided exercises. Intermediate learners develop multi-step reasoning, applied algebra, and geometric problem-solving abilities. Advanced learners tackle SAT-style questions, coordinate geometry, and higher-level algebra, cultivating independence and analytical thinking. My teaching emphasizes curiosity, resilience, and structured problem-solving in all lessons. Outside the classroom, I explore innovative approaches to teaching mathematics, practical applications, and problem-solving strategies. Watching students develop mastery, confidence, and intellectual curiosity is deeply rewarding. My aim is to equip learners with the skills and mindset to approach mathematics thoughtfully, creatively, and systematically.

Mathematics becomes engaging when students see the connection between elementary school math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, and SAT math, and their applications in problem-solving and logical reasoning. Beginners focus on building a strong foundation with arithmetic, fractions, number sense, and basic operations using visual aids, practical examples, and interactive exercises to instill confidence and comprehension. Intermediate learners develop multi-step algebraic skills, geometric reasoning, and applied exercises that link abstract concepts with real-life scenarios, helping them approach problems strategically. Advanced learners tackle SAT math, coordinate geometry, higher-level algebra, and complex problem-solving strategies, honing analytical reasoning and independent thinking. Lessons emphasize structured guidance, stepwise problem-solving, interactive discussions, and practical exercises to cultivate conceptual clarity, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving resilience. Students are encouraged to explore multiple solution methods, develop creative thinking, and persist through challenging problems. The aim is to provide learners with both academic achievement and enduring problem-solving skills, enabling them to approach mathematical challenges thoughtfully, logically, and confidently.
Lesson pacing is adapted to each learner. Beginners receive stepwise guidance, visual explanations, and foundational exercises. Intermediate learners focus on multi-step reasoning, applied algebra, and geometric problem-solving. Advanced learners tackle SAT-style questions, coordinate geometry, and advanced algebra, building analytical thinking and confidence.
Mathematics lessons cultivate logical reasoning, intellectual curiosity, and structured problem-solving. Students progress from elementary school math to advanced SAT math, gaining analytical skills, confidence, and enjoyment in applying mathematics to practical challenges. My goal is to inspire mastery, creativity, and academic success in every learner.
