About Vasileios
My best skill is to effectively identify the "point of failure of comprehension", which is whatever makes each particular student unable to solve the problem they are facing.
From there, I delve deeper to cover any voids in knowledge in order to make sure that my student can proceed to built upon their current knowledge and understand more complex items.
My greatest successes of the past include two siblings who wanted to pass the same ESOL examination at the same time, while being one year (and grade) apart, a child with learning difficulties who covered the entire year's curicullum in less that 3 months over the summer and another child who hated Math with a passion, but now has the highest marks in her class.

I have been tutoring Math for 6 years. I have tutored many individuals, from children with learning difficulties to University students, from 8 to 26 years old.
Every student I have tutored has accomplished their goals.
My greatest pride is when my students surpass the need for a tutor and understand how to learn on their own.
If my student is willing to work hard, I will teach them not just how to solve Math problems, but how to understand Math, so that they can proceed on their own in the future, without need for a tutor.
