About Niall
I am a first-generation mathematician at Durham University, about to enter my final year of studies. I love maths, but I am also passionate about French and science. I have tutored for many years, and want to deliver quality maths tutoring to help even more people reach their goals.

My teaching method is understanding, then practice. If you can get it to ‘click’ in your head, then solving problems becomes much easier. I like to work through questions together, explaining how to tackle them thoroughly step by step when you get stuck.

Niall and I went to sixth form college together and have been friends ever since. All through A-levels and university, he has always been there to help me through my studies, even though we no longer live in the same town.
Niall is fantastic at explaining complicated ideas, especially mathematics, and he's extremely patient and understanding when you don't get something straight away. He is very good at finding another way to explain a problem, in order to make it more approachable.
