About Omer
I am a student studying computer science(specialization in games) in McGill University. I'm a fourth year student, and I've been programming for the last 6 years, so I have a lot of experience with various languages, particularly Java. I've had experience teaching many friends who wanted to get into programming.

While starting my programming journey, I've noticed that many tutors like to throw around jargon and brush over important concepts that might not come intuitively to someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with programming. This made it difficult for me to learn in the beginning, so I try to avoid such teaching methods and make sure my students have a strong basis in the fundamentals before moving on. Every person learns in a different way, so I try to personalize my lessons to fit the student's needs.
