About Jenny
Hi! My name is Jenny, and I'm a McMaster University Honours Life Science student with over 6 years of tutoring experience. I am a certified tutor through the License 2 Learn program and have worked with students from Kindergarten to Grade 10, helping them build confidence and improve their understanding of mathematics.
I have always enjoyed working with children and helping students reach their full potential. My goal is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing problem-solving skills, and gaining confidence in their abilities. Watching my students improve their grades and discover that they *can* succeed in math is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to fit their individual needs and learning style. My lessons for Kindergarten to Grade 10 mathematics combine clear step-by-step explanations, visual examples, guided practice, problem-solving strategies, and review activities to help students develop a strong understanding of key concepts.
Having struggled with math myself, I understand how overwhelming it can sometimes feel. That's why I focus not only on improving grades but also on building confidence and helping students develop a positive mindset toward learning. My goal is to ensure students truly understand the material—not just memorize procedures—so they can apply their knowledge independently and succeed both in and outside the classroom.

Jenny is absolutely an excellent tutor. She had been tutoring both of our kids and we can see that both of them have improved not only on a school level, but also on a personal level with being more patient and more detail oriented. She is always there to help out with different subjects if they ask, she reviews their homeworks and tasks for upcoming test and quizzes. We are happy we were able to find Jenny and we would highly recommend her.I know Jenny will get more busier now, but please keep the times for our kids..:)
