About Obaid
I have a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London and have been working as a full-time GCSE Physics and Mathematics teacher since 2018.
At Roots Millennium Schools, I was successful in increasing the average score for the Physics class by 6% as compared to the previous year. This was made possible by communicating information using my expertise in the subject in a simple and coherent manner and incorporating the use of technology to assist the teaching-learning process. Learners were encouraged to ask questions and for those who lacked the required confidence, I created and shared a folder on Google drive where they could easily post their queries. Furthermore, the drive also gave the learners access to tons of other useful lectures and simulations.

My teaching method is to first cover all the contents of a particular topic by delivering a detailed lesson. This is then followed by a quick recap where learners understanding is assessed via a few questions. Finally, in order to ensure that the learners have a thorough understanding of the topic, I ask them to solve past examination questions.
