About Shenaya
I am currently studying a Master's in Medical Engineering and graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Auckland, where I developed a strong foundation in Math and the Sciences. I have always enjoyed problem solving and helping others understand concepts that may initially seem challenging.
With 4 years of tutoring experience, including both private tutoring and working at the Auckland Institute of Excellence, I have worked with a wide range of students and understand how to adapt my approach to suit different learning styles.
I am patient, approachable, and focused on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making progress. I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence over time and take pride in helping them reach their full potential.

I take a clear and structured approach to tutoring, focusing on building a strong understanding of core concepts before moving into exam-style questions. My goal is to help students not only improve their results, but also feel more confident and comfortable with their subjects.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s level and learning style, whether they need help catching up, staying on track, or aiming for top grades in NCEA. I have 4 years of tutoring experience, including both private tutoring and working at the Auckland Institute of Excellence, which has given me strong insight into how to support students effectively across all levels.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, but I’m flexible depending on what the student needs. I provide clear explanations, guided practice, and ongoing support to help students consistently improve.
