Super Tutor

Liv is one of our best Reading tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Liv

I am calm, professional, and encouraging towards all of my students. I work with them to achieve their goals and push them to do better. My past students would describe me as fun, enthusiastic, and nurturing. I pride myself on giving students an environment where I adjust to meet their learning needs!

About the lesson

My lessons are full of fun and my students love when I teach them new things or explain new concepts to them. If my student does not already have something to work on, I always love sending them home with some extra practice to enrich our lessons (usually only a few hours a week), this way the student can get the best out of our sessions. When I tutor, I find that a personalized approach to teaching is great! I will respond to each individual students needs and always be receptive and respectful to them. It is important that my student fully understands everything I am teaching and I always take the extra step to make sure they do.

Our daughter has been working with Liv since the beginning of this school year, helping support her transition to junior high math and foundations due to ongoing challenges throughout her elementary years and COVID 19 lockdowns. Liv has been supportive, patient, and helped Instill so much confidence in our daughter. She has helped identify strategies, suggested practice methods, and given positive feedback that has helped us celebrate consistent and meaningful successes! Our daughter always looks forward to her weekly sessions with Liv! She feels safe, comfortable, and trusts Liv to be an influential support.
