About Aimee
I am a first-year medical student studying at a London university. I achieved 3000+ and Band 2 in the 2024 UCAT. I secured offers from all of the universities I interviewed at. I prepared for both panel interviews and MMIs, so I understand that different interview styles require precise tailoring to answers. I believe medical applications work similarly to studying; everyone has a different method of being successful that works best for them. I hope to improve my students' confidence in tackling areas of the application that might seem initially daunting but have the potential to become their biggest strengths. I did the Medicine application cycle last year so I fully empathise with how difficult it can be to multitask so many different aspects of the application simultaneously. My biggest aim as a tutor is to support my students with useful, concise information and proven-to-work strategies to ensure they feel confident while approaching each stage of the application. I passed a DBS check in 2025.

Given that universities now employ varying methods of interview style, I target my interview lessons to fulfil my students' needs. For interview practice, I share the repeatable structures that I used in my interviews. I practise common questions with students from topics that students feel less confident in, such as Medical Ethics or the tricky Why Medicine, getting to know each student's personal profile of work experience, volunteering and super-curriculars to make their hard work stand out. I also offer mock interviews. UCAT requires careful consideration as to when to start regular practice in relation to the date of taking the test. Accompanying individual practice that students will undertake themselves, I guide students through challenging questions they may encounter during practice. I give all my tips from my experience with utilising UCAT tools effectively, to maximise your progress.
