About Zainab
Hi, I'm Zainab and I'm a second year medical student at UCL! I did Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths at A-level, achieving A*s in all of them.
I first started teaching science and maths to younger students (on a one-to-one basis) when I was 15 - as a GCSE Science Peer Mentor - and continued until I left school, so I have plenty of experience!
I now offer tutoring for both A-level and GCSE students. I'm good at making tricky concepts easy to understand and digest, and I aim to create an environment where my tutee isn't afraid to ask questions or ask for something to be re-explained in a different way; I recognise that each learner has their own needs and learning style, and tailor my lessons differently to each student

Lessons will typically be 1 or 2 hours, online via Zoom/Microsoft Teams.
I did Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and an EPQ at A-level, achieving all A*s. From Year 11 to Year 13, I was a peer mentor at school, teaching all three GCSE sciences and maths to younger students on a one-to-one basis.
I now offer lessons for GCSE/A-level students of Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
