About Maimoona
My name is Mimi. Having been through the education system myself, I know how much a little bit of help can make a big difference. I do not believe in people being 'naturally clever', but what I do believe in is hard work... As long as you are willing to try your best, with the right help and support - I am sure together, we can help achieve your academic goals to ensure that one day you can have those grades you so badly want or that job you've always wanted to do.
My personal learning style throughout my GCSE and A-Level including taking notes, making revision cards, making summary notes, reviewing content and doing past papers. However, I am aware not everyone is a visual learner. As a tutor, I would make sure we got to know each other enough to ensure that I tutor you in a way that suits your academic needs the best.
I believe that education is powerful, and it is the one thing in this whole world that nobody can take away from you. I know what it is like to need help, and now I am in a position to give back, it would be nothing but a privilege for me if you were to choose me as your tutor. In return, my promise to you is that I will always go out of my way to help ensure you give your education the best you can and ultimately succeed. I know that not everything is straight forward, but my job will be to help you address your weakest points, so we can turn them into your strong points too!

Also, I have now completed my Medical Science degree at The University of Birmingham and going on to study at Medical School (Keele University, Medicine) so can also offer to tutor and help and support with the process of applying to medical school (e.g. personal statement, interview, and UKCAT preparations etc!)
