About Luciana
I'm a screenwriter living in the heart of LA. I moved to Boston in 2023 to obtain an MFA in Screenwriting from Boston University. In 2025, I relocated to California to pursue a career in the film industry. I have several completed feature screenplays and a TV pilot, and have also had the opportunity to work in the industry as a development intern. During my time in Boston, I had the opportunity to teach screenwriting to undergraduate students as a Teaching Assistant at my school. Prior to coming to the US, I lived in Lima, Peru, where I obtained a BA in Communications and worked for different companies in the Marketing and Advertising field.

Depending on the student's knowledge and familiarity with screenwriting, lessons can vary in the following way: A. Lecture approach, in which we review the basics of screenwriting, such as format and parts of a script, and continue to study the different elements of a screenplay in further lessons (action lines, dialogue, transitions, etc.). We also get into scene construction, writing deep characters, writing for a genre, and more. B. Workshop approach: if the student is already familiar with the basics, we can focus on workshopping his material. This would consist of identifying the strengths and opportunities for improvement in his script, helping them find solutions, revising any format questions, and overall meeting their writing goals in a given timeframe. C. A combination of both approaches.
