About Jacob
A little about me: Hey kids! I am thrilled to work with you! My name is Mr. Collins, I am a tutor and I am also in school. I am a college student. My favorite movie is “Black Panther” And my hobby is playing with my birds. I’d love to learn more about you! My career goal is to become a teacher to help students become their best selves. I hope I get to work with you! My subject expertise: I mostly help students in math! But I can also help you in English. I am willing to help you in History or Science as well.

I like to approach assignments knowing when they are due and what the teacher is expecting. I typically tutor grades 6-8 but can tutor at the elementary level if needed. The two subjects I work in the most are English and Math. I am a very hands-on learner myself so I incorporate that into the lessons. Whether we use flash cards or count/multiply/divide using candy or other objects. I work well with kids and can help them find ways to make their homework assignments fun and help them challenge their minds.
