About Rossina
During my time at the University of Nottingham, I found online conversation classes very helpful for building confidence and enjoying languages. I would now like to offer that help to anyone who would like it.
I have experience teaching in high schools in Germany and England, and also tutoring privately for adult learners of English.
My sessions are engaging and encouraging. I love languages and teamwork. I have several years’ experience working in three languages with people from many different backgrounds and I have loved helping them towards their own personal language goals.
Conversation classes are relaxed and engaging with a focus on successful communication rather than accuracy. I don’t interrupt with corrections, but take note of them to discuss later.
The student chooses their most important goals. These may be accent, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, idiomatic expression etc., and we work together to improve their chosen areas.
I am also trained in proofreading and editing if you need coursework/ documents checked professionally.

Lessons are usually an hour. The student highlights areas they want to focus on. I coach them through exercises and provide detailed feedback. I can also be contacted between lessons for any urgent language questions.
I am a University of Nottingham graduate (Modern Languages with Translation). Native English speaker (London accent).
I have experience working in a high school in Germany, and also tutoring adults of all ages and levels.
Lessons are tailored to individual students and their needs.
