About Izzy
I'm a undergraduate student at UCL going into my final year of study. I started tutoring at the beginning of second year, preparing one pupil for 11+ and two for IGCSE French, both of whom went on to achieve A*. I have just returned from my year abroad, in which my time was split between Bordeaux and Rome. Whilst in Bordeaux, I provided informal English tutoring to two french children.

My approach to teaching is based on bolstering and solidifying classwork. My pupils tend to be working towards a certain qualification, such as a GCSE, so I plan my lessons around what they are learning in class. I dedicate more time to topics on the syllabus they find challenging, and perhaps don't have the chance to go into more detail in during school lessons. This ensures that by the time they sit their exam, they are fully prepared and comfortable with each component.
