About Kelvin
I believe that a quality education involves education that are geared toward helping students to become a successful learner, instead of a memorizing machine because students can easily obtain information using technology, and therefore, education should be geared towards giving the students the ability to understand and utilize those knowledge in abstract situations.
I also believe that it is an effective method of learning to allow students to create their own meaning while the teacher assist and steer them in the correct direction, with a combination of traditional teaching to reinforce knowledge. For example, as a teacher, I always try to start with an instructional knowledge-based teaching to lay out the foundation for students, followed by an authentic activity which involve peers’ collaboration and ICT.

Economics shouldn't be a hard topic to understand. Therefore, I will focus on introducing the foundations of economics using real life examples before moving on to exam questions to help students improve. The structure of the lesson is flexible. I also think that analyzing movies and videos is a good method to grasp economic concept.
