About Sarah
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University, specializing in physiology and economics, and maintain a high university WAM. In VCE, I achieved high study scores in Biology, Psychology, and Economics, giving me a strong understanding of both the content and the study techniques needed to succeed in these subjects.
Alongside university, I have gained laboratory experience through my science studies and will soon begin an internship with BDO Australia in R&D Tax Consulting. These experiences have strengthened my analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
I enjoy helping students build confidence in their learning and explaining difficult concepts in a clear and approachable way. I also have experience helping younger university students with their coursework and study techniques.
Outside of academics, I love reading Japanese literature and have a strong interest in both science and economics.

My approach to tutoring is focused on building confidence and genuine understanding rather than memorization. I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style and pace, using clear explanations, practice questions, active recall, and step-by-step problem solving to make difficult concepts easier to understand. I also help students improve their study techniques, organization, and exam preparation skills.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, with flexibility depending on the student’s needs and goals. I aim to create a supportive and comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through challenges together.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce at Monash University, specializing in physiology and economics. Throughout university, I have also helped younger year level students with their units, developing strong communication skills and experience explaining complex concepts in a simple and approachable way.
My lessons are designed for high school students, particularly those studying biology, science, and economics, or students looking for general academic support and improved study habits.
