About Irene
I am a Montessori trained teacher as well as having travelled teaching after studying TESOL in Thailand. I have tutored and been privileged to teach in both the private sector and Montessori Sector. While in Thailand I taught children and young adults improve their English. * years teaching and Tutoring experience. I love teaching and use the methods of teaching and am always reading to learn more techniques to better my own development and those I get to teach.

I believe that all children are unique and deserve to be given my undivided attention and availability, they are the future and passing knowledge is a gift worth giving. Being even a small part, of their growth is important. As a teacher we need to be respectful of al cultures as well as towards the child. Being honest, playful and open-minded to learn the child's interests and work from there; I believe is best. Positive encouragement is more effective when dealing with young minds and being loving and nurturing is a more holistic approach, as we take a child as a whole, mind, body, social skills and personality into account. Working with a child is important to me and watching them learn and grow not only in Knowledge but as a whole is a gift I truly can not explain. Children are individuals and should be treated as such. I am passionate about teaching and love what I do, everyday is different, as is every child.
