About Prajwala
I am a degree-educated native Marathi and Hindi speaker from Mumbai with a background in Performing Arts in Dance and experience teaching children in school settings.
For one year, I taught dance to children in schools, which gave me practical experience working with different age groups, managing attention spans, and creating structured but engaging sessions. This experience helped me develop patience, clarity in instruction, and an understanding of how children learn through interaction and repetition.
Although my degree is not in teaching languages, growing up and studying in Mumbai has given me a strong foundation in both Marathi and Hindi, including conversational fluency as well as reading and writing skills. I understand the importance of correct pronunciation and natural everyday usage.
I am focusing on offering structured online language lessons for children aged 5–12. My aim is to combine clear guidance with an encouraging approach so that children feel comfortable participating and gradually build confidence in speaking and understanding the language.

I offer structured and supportive online Hindi and Marathi lessons for children aged 5–12.
My approach is practical and age-appropriate. Younger children learn best through interaction and repetition, while older children benefit from more structured language development. I adapt each lesson to the child’s age, level and confidence.
For children aged 5–8, lessons focus on:
- Listening and speaking skills
- Simple vocabulary building
- Songs, short stories and visual prompts
- Repetition and guided practice to build confidence
For children aged 9–12, lessons include:
- Conversational practice
- Reading short passages
- Writing simple sentences
- Vocabulary development and basic grammar foundations
Lesson length is flexible depending on age and concentration.
- Younger children (5–7) typically we will schedule 30-minute sessions.
- Older children (8–12) typically work with 45–60 minute lessons.
As a native Marathi and Hindi speaker from Mumbai, I teach natural pronunciation and everyday language alongside reading and writing skills. I have experience working with children in school environments, which has helped me develop patience, clarity in explanation and an understanding of different learning styles.
Lessons are suitable for beginners, children in bilingual households, and heritage learners who would like to strengthen their speaking confidence, as well as children with little or no prior exposure to the language.
My aim is steady, realistic progress and increased confidence rather than rushing through content.
