About Julia
Curious student of Museology at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, trying to help her study in the history of Art :) I did an artistic research in the historical Church of São Francisco da Penitência (RJ); I previously worked with Scientific Initiation and won best research award at the Scientific Initiation Day 2019 / UNIRIO; I also worked at the State Heritage Institute of Rio de Janeiro (INEPAC). I seek in my teaching methodology to apply theoretical classes and add cultural visits (if possible) visually and theoretically, developing criticism in our learning (students and teachers learn together!). Thus, contemplating my interdisciplinary background, it is possible to develop practical and historical issues within the fields of Western Art History and other social sciences, bringing these discussions more simply to the student's daily life.
