About Shirley
I have worked in departments of education and healthcare as a teacher and therapist, both supervisory and as clinician. I have been teaching piano lessons for 15-20 years, in group piano, and more specifically individually. Students that I have taught in the past self-actualized productively into their destined placements in life.

My teaching methodology includes: Piano playing repertoire, technic, theory, history, usually combined into piano teaching method books. One major component of piano lessons is to discover how you self-actualize in your piano study as well as develop an awareness of how music affects behavior and emotions via music therapy.
