About Eleanor
I am an Intensive Support Provision teacher in Perth. I have a PGDE in Primary Education and a 2:1 Bachelor of Honours Degree in Music from Edinburgh Napier University, studying the French Horn.
I have been teaching group lessons and 1-1 for 11 years, teaching group music theory, Recorder, Voice, French horn, Trumpet, Trombone and Piano. I have had students from as young as 4 to 65+. I have a background in care and working with people with disabilities, and from all different walks of life. Young and old - there are no barriers to music!

I can teach up to University, diploma level on the French horn. Everything else (trumpet, trombone, recorder, piano, music theory) up to an intermediate level. I tend to have a variety in each lesson, allowing the pupil to have an active say in what they learn. I like to incorporate simultaneous learning as we progress through different stages.

Eleanor is very kind, understanding and patient. She has helped me learn the trombone from the beginning and I have loved every minute of her lessons. 100% recommended.
Eleanor has a wonderful talent and to be able to share that with the world is incredible. We were in band together for years and she’s one of the most trustworthy and reliable people I’ve ever met. She is an excellent tutor and will continue to grow herself and her pupils. I definitely recommend Eleanor as a tutor.
