About Gareth
I have a real passion for passing on my love of music and the guitar to other people young and old. For nearly 20 years I have been one of the most successful guitar teachers in the High Wycombe area. My students have won national awards and gone on study music at universities and conservatoires. Many others continue to play in their free time as a hobby.
I am also Head of Guitar at one of the largest music services in the country and ensure that nearly 1000 students are getting the best guitaristic education possible.
I am happy to teach all ages and abilities from my studio in High Wycombe.

I am one of the longest established teachers in the area and Head of Guitar at one of the largest music services in the country.
The Spanish Classical style is my speciality and I am able to teach all ages and abilities. Trinity and ABRSM grades can be catered for. I can also offer electric and acoustic guitar tuition using the Rockschool syllabus.
Lessons are a minimum of 30min. Longer lessons are available subject to scheduling.
Qualifications:
- BA(Hons) in Music: University of Bristol
- MA in Advanced Musical Studies: University of Bristol
- PGDip in Music (Classical Guitar Studies): Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama
- PGCE in Secondary Music: Canterbury Christ Church University
