About Yasmin
Hi! My name is Yasmin Eubanks. I have been an educator for 8 years. I have taught many things ranging from sports coaching to public school teaching. I love teaching because I am constantly learning new things and ways to make my lessons fun and engaging. I have a background in theater and performance that I like to use in my lessons. I believe in creating a space for students to express themselves and form the best environment for critical thinking and most importantly fun! I have taught students from the ages of 3 to 18 and have the tools to make your learning an enjoyable experience.

My teaching method includes a lot of different types of learning. I like to incorporate visual, tactile, and situational learning in order to make real world connections with the materials. A typical lesson plan of mine would include a warm up activity that requires creative thinking and gets the student/s engaged at their own comfort level. As the lesson continues, there will be more opportunity for critical thinking and feedback from students and other peers if available.
Most of my lessons can be applicable to elementary through high school students with varying levels of difficulty and engagement. I believe that students of all ages deserve a voice in their educational journey and I love to cater my lessons to the needs of the students. I believe that the best way of learning is hands on and learning to use the information in real world scenarios.
