About Basim
love teaching languages because I know what it feels like to be taught the wrong way. English and Arabic shouldn’t be treated like school subjects you just memorise and pass that only creates robots, not speakers. Humans don’t learn like that. We learn by socialising, by using words in real situations, by laughing at mistakes and trying again. That’s the heart of my lessons: making language something you live, not something you recite.

My lessons are straightforward: no scripts, no stiff grammar lectures. We’ll focus on how people actually speak Arabic and English, whether that’s casual conversations, academic language, or the in-between. Think of it more like building a skill than memorising rules. We’ll start with what you need most, maybe it’s holding a simple chat without freezing, maybe it’s polishing your writing, maybe it’s finally understanding those expressions that never show up in textbooks. I like to keep it practical, flexible, and a little playful. You’ll talk a lot, make mistakes (that’s the point), and by the end, you’ll notice you’re speaking with more ease, without even thinking about it.
