About Sonali
Hi, I'm Sonali! Bengali is my mother tongue, and I was born and raised in Kolkata, immersed in the language, culture, and literature my whole life. I hold a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, which gave me a strong academic understanding of language structure and communication, on top of my natural fluency.
I love helping people connect with Bengali — whether that's for heritage reasons, travel, or simple curiosity about the language and culture. I bring patience, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm to every lesson, and I make sure classes stay relaxed and encouraging rather than intimidating, especially for complete beginners.

My approach to teaching Bengali is relaxed and practical — I focus on real conversation, correct pronunciation, and everyday usage, not just memorizing rules. A typical class starts with simple spoken practice, moves into reading and writing basics, and gradually builds toward more natural, flowing conversation depending on your comfort level.
What sets me apart is that Bengali is my native language, and I also have a strong academic background in language and communication through my Journalism degree — so I can explain grammar and structure clearly, not just speak it instinctively. My classes are ideal for complete beginners, heritage speakers wanting to reconnect with the language, or anyone learning Bengali for travel, culture, or personal interest.
আমার শেখানোর পদ্ধতি সহজ এবং বাস্তবসম্মত — আমি সঠিক উচ্চারণ, বাস্তব কথোপকথন এবং প্রতিদিনের ব্যবহারের উপর জোর দিই, শুধু নিয়ম মুখস্থ করানোর বদলে। একটি সাধারণ ক্লাস শুরু হয় সহজ কথ্য অনুশীলন দিয়ে, তারপর পড়া ও লেখার মৌলিক বিষয়ে যাই, এবং ধীরে ধীরে স্বাভাবিক কথোপকথনের দিকে এগিয়ে যাই, আপনার সুবিধা অনুযায়ী।
আমার বিশেষত্ব হলো, বাংলা আমার মাতৃভাষা, এবং সাংবাদিকতায় ডিগ্রি থাকার কারণে আমার ভাষা ও যোগাযোগ সম্পর্কে শক্তিশালী একাডেমিক ভিত্তিও আছে — তাই আমি ব্যাকরণ ও গঠন স্পষ্টভাবে ব্যাখ্যা করতে পারি, শুধু স্বাভাবিকভাবে বলার বদলে। আমার ক্লাস তাদের জন্য উপযুক্ত যারা একদম শুরু করছেন, যাদের পারিবারিক শিকড় বাংলার সাথে জড়িত এবং ভাষার সাথে পুনরায় যুক্ত হতে চান, অথবা যারা ভ্রমণ, সংস্কৃতি বা ব্যক্তিগত আগ্রহের জন্য বাংলা শিখছেন।
