About Marie
My mother is French and my father is Irish - I've spent a lot of time in both France and England and have been bilingual all my life! I often work in France with English teams and therefore do (unofficial) tutoring a lot with them. I have often helped my French cousins with their English university work and comprehension etc, and same for my English friends studying French!
I'm especially helpful for things like more casual vocab, slang, and common sayings and phrases - great for if you're planning on doing a semester in France or moving/working out there!

I'm quite laid back and enjoy interactive lessons, with plenty of room for students to ask questions and discuss things they don't understand. My lessons will have a core topic (so could be a certain topic of vocabulary, a verb conjugation, etc) and I try to relate it to things which would be relevant to the specific student! I'm a big fan of learning by immersion so generally would only speak in French, but of course I can change that a little depending on the level at which I'm teaching!
