About Suzanne
Former North Carolina National Board Certified teacher, experienced and certified ESL teacher for all ages. Recently retired from 19 years of teaching in public schools (classroom and ESL) and coupled with my college and online ESL experience, I have 30 years combined. I have experience teaching students of all ages. I taught ESL to adult learners at the local community college and also taught adult Brazilian and Chinese students online for about eight years.
Originally, I was a music major (flutist), but following in the footsteps of my large family, I transferred into education and teaching. I have enjoyed watching my young students learn to read-hence the masters in reading. On the side, I have an ETSY shop where I sew boutique purses and gifts for all occasions. I am also a certified real estate instructor having six years of experience with clients as they buy and sell homes. I am working toward opening my own real estate brokerage soon!
