About Valerie
I worked as both a private tutor and assistant in tutor centers for 2 years and have taught at least 2 dozens of students. The students I taught can all communicate fluently in Chinese and some even accomplished the HSK task.

I can teach both online or face to face (depending on what the student prefer). I assess the students first to obtain an understanding of what level the student is at. I teach very practical Chinese, something the student can actually use in Chinese speaking places (except those who aim to undertake HSK). I prepare short quizzes and homework to enable more practice for the students, as well as to keep track of the student's improvement. I tend to speak in Chinese with students a lot as listening and saying out loud is the best way to learn a language
