About Helen
I am a native English speaker currently working on a doctorate degree in medicine in Chicago, IL. Previously, I have experience teaching English to students in South Korea as well as aiding college-level international students in Cincinnati, OH and Los Angeles, CA. I also have 3 years of experience editing/proofreading an architectural publication in New York, NY. My philosophy is to first observe the interests and patterns of the student in order to establish customized lesson plans and communication styles tailored to each individual.
- Start by reviewing goals/objectives of the session
- Review any material from prior session
- Dive into the material (homework, projects, etc.)
- Overview of session and set goals for next session
