About Samantha
I’m a UK-qualified English and Drama teacher with 17 years of international experience. I’m passionate about helping students connect with what they study, think critically, and express ideas with confidence. My lessons combine creativity with clear structure, encouraging students to find meaning in texts and develop their own voice. I love seeing learners grow — not just in skill, but in self-belief. English is more than a subject; it’s a way to understand, communicate, and create.

Learning is most powerful when students connect deeply with a text and take ownership of their ideas. My lessons develop interpretation, critical thinking, and personal response — all while staying closely aligned with IGCSE, GCSE, and A Level requirements.
Each session focuses on shaping ideas, strengthening analytical skills, and building confidence in written and verbal expression. Lessons are interactive, creative, and structured to ensure clear progress and lasting understanding.
With a PGCE and QTS in Secondary Education (Birmingham City University, UK) and 17 years of international experience, I support IGCSE, GCSE, A Level, and adult learners to think independently, write with purpose, and express themselves with confidence.
