About Romaric
I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (since 2016) and a Master’s degree in Early Years and Primary Education (since 2015). I have been teaching children and adults of all levels for ten years.
I have been working for several years in a Lycée Français (as a kindergarten/primary school teacher), and before that I have worked for 5 years in an Alliance Française. I have also worked with both state and independent schools in several countries (Spain, England, France and Finland).
I have multiple references from former employers, families and students, which I would be happy to provide upon request.

I am Romaric, a native French teacher trained at the Alliance Française and a certified DELF and DALF examiner, marker and preparation tutor.
PRIVATE / GROUP LESSONS
I teach all levels, from complete beginner to C2. I usually propose and alternate between different types of activities, working on the various skills, vocabulary and grammar, always with a strong focus on speaking practice. However, I adapt to each student’s specific needs and objectives.
Lessons can be one-to-one or in groups. I offer group lessons at a reduced rate. Please feel free to contact me for further information.
PREPARATION FOR OFFICIAL EXAMS (DELF–DALF and EOI)
Do you need a qualification to work in a French-speaking country? Do you need to certify your level for university or for career development?
I can help. Since 2017, I have been examining and preparing candidates for the different tests at all levels. I am very familiar with the methodologies and I keep fully up to date with the changes introduced by France Éducation International (which creates the exams and delivers the certificates).
As someone who is passionate about languages, I have also sat official exams myself to certify my levels in English (Cambridge) and Spanish (DELE). I therefore understand exactly how candidates feel and the strategies required to succeed in this type of examination.
ORAL EXAM PRACTICE
If you would simply like to practise the speaking component of your exam before the exam date in order to feel fully prepared, I offer one or several online sessions during which I will conduct a mock oral exam, provide you with tailored advice and strategies, and answer any questions you may have.
After each session, I will send you detailed feedback (using the official assessment grid for your level), so that you know exactly how to improve your mark and maximise your chances of passing.
