About Valentina
I was born and raised in Italy and moved to the UK in 2013.
I have experience in tutoring children of all ages and I have been teaching Italian to a variety of people of different ages since I moved to the UK.
I also speak fluent Spanish.
In addition to offering Italian lessons, I work full-time as a Scrum Master in the Software Development industry.

My approach to teaching is fun and down-to-earth, trying to keep the lessons less focused on the school book and more on the fun aspect of learning.
I usually start with the basics, teaching the first important words to use in many different situations and I aim to finish the lesson with the student feeling that he already has learned some new phrases.
My approach is all-rounded, including learning Italian grammar which is definitely the most complex aspect of the language.
To keep things varied, every lesson contains a mix of vocabulary, grammar, reading, speaking, and free-flow conversation.
With kids I usually add fun games to the lesson, to keep them interested and entertained.
I provide all the lessons materials and exercise sheets required.
