About Yoogyoung
Hello! I’m a native Korean speaker born and raised in Seoul, where I use the standard Seoul dialect. :) I’m a fashion designer with four years of experience and a sustainability researcher.
Alongside my professional career, I’ve always had a strong passion for education. For over five years, I volunteered as a tutor at child welfare centres, teaching Korean, English, maths, and science to students from primary to high school. I truly love supporting and growing together with my students, always maintaining a consistent and caring approach from their perspective. Before entering university, I studied creative and literary writing for four years, which helps me deliver rich and nuanced lessons, especially in advanced Korean writing and expression.

2] Intermediate – Build sentences naturally using essential grammar and vocabulary to express personal thoughts.
3] Advanced – Refine grammar, expand vocabulary, and understand subtle nuances in tone and expression.
4] Business / Academic Writing – Improve formal writing, interview skills, and academic essays or personal statements in a natural and professional way.
** All sessions include prepared learning materials, so you can focus on speaking, writing, and understanding Korean with confidence!
** Each session lasts 1 hour as standard, but the duration can be adjusted depending on your needs. We’ll also discuss your preferred focus areas and any homework options during our first lesson to design the most effective and enjoyable learning plan for you.
