About Nicole

Hi, I'm Nicole! I'm a native Mandarin speaker originally from China, and I've had the wonderful opportunity to live, study and work across China, Singapore and Australia.

I'm currently based in Melbourne, where I work as a Chartered Accountant and business professional. I hold a Master's degree from the University of Melbourne and have extensive experience communicating with people from different cultural and professional backgrounds.

Having lived in different countries, I understand how challenging, and sometimes intimidating, it can be to communicate in another language. I believe the best way to learn a language is through real conversations, cultural exchange and plenty of practice.

I'm friendly, patient, open-minded and genuinely enjoy meeting people from different walks of life. I love sharing Chinese culture, everyday expressions and the little things that make Mandarin such a fascinating language.

Whether you're learning Mandarin for travel, work, relationships or simply personal interest, I'd love to help you become a more confident speaker.

My goal is simple: to make learning Mandarin feel less like studying and more like having an enjoyable conversation with a friend.
