About Zeynab

Hello! I am a native Persian speaker based in Istanbul, holding a PhD in Islamic Art and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Fashion. I am fluent in both English and Turkish. I firmly believe that learning a language goes beyond just memorizing grammar; it is about immersing yourself in its culture, art, and soul. If you are curious about the rich, aesthetic world of Persian language, literature, and art history, you are in the right place!
How the Lessons Work:
I tailor my classes entirely to your personal goals. Whether you want to practice conversational Persian for travel/work, start from scratch with academic Persian, or dive deep into Persian literature, culture, and art history, I design an interactive, fun, and customized program for your level. Thanks to my fluency in English, I can explain complex linguistic structures in the simplest and most logical way possible.
In our first introductory session, we will assess your level and map out a personalized roadmap just for you. Looking forward to seeing you in class soon!

About the lesson

My Teaching Methodology: Cultural Immersion & Tailored Learning
I offer personalized Persian (Farsi) lessons designed for students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels—from absolute beginners to advanced learners looking to refine their fluency. My approach is highly interactive, dynamic, and closely tied to the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the Persian-speaking world.
What We Can Focus On:
Conversational Persian: Practical vocabulary, idioms, and everyday expressions for travel, family, or business communication.
Academic & Formal Farsi: Structured grammar, reading, and writing using authentic materials.
Art, History & Literature: For enthusiasts and researchers, we can dive deep into classical and modern Persian poetry, historical texts, and the aesthetic nuances of Islamic art.
What Makes My Classes Unique?
As a PhD researcher in Islamic Art, I don't just teach words; I bring the language to life by sharing the stories, history, and art behind them. I use digital tools, visual aids, custom PDF worksheets, and interactive exercises to keep lessons engaging and effective.
Every lesson is customized to match your pace, interests, and learning style. Whether your goal is to speak confidently with family, travel through the Silk Road, or read Rumi in his original language, I am here to guide you step-by-step!
