About Adrian
Hello! I am Adrian, a computer science student at the university of Nottingham. I was born in Spain, and have always had a love for numbers and computers, which I hope I can transfer to my students too! When It comes to maths, I love complex and interesting problems, that use tricks and curious paths to find the solution.
While I was studying GCSE Computer Science, I always wished the programming was taught a bit better, and with more detail, and that's what I wish to do for you! All the way from installing IDLE to writing simple games and interfaces.
But most of all, I wish to teach in a way that can be enjoyable, so you too can love these amazing subjects!

I enjoy not only teaching students, but also watching them gain admiration for the subjects that I love. Because of this, my tutoring methodology is always to show how topics are derived, and what they can be used for in a compelling and interesting way, that allows the student to build a more rigid understanding of topics, as opposed to straight memorization.
Because of this, I will always begin by judging a students current ability, and tackling areas of weakness, while also allowing them to progress further into topics they feel confident in. My lessons tend to be no more than 2 hours, typically 1 hour, where one or two topics are tackled. I also believe it is important to make sure students are understanding lesson content, and will occasionally have recap sessions.
I have been working as an official maths tutor for 1 year, and I have experience in tutoring groups of students at the same time. I have an A* and A in A-level maths and further maths respectively. My lessons are aimed towards GCSE students, and programming beginners, as I know I will be able to deliver good content at that level.
