I have known Alejandro for three and a half years, during which time he has taught my son Spanish three times a week throughout the school year. We opted to have my son study privately with Alejandro when we saw Alejandro's resume and accomplishments. We could not have made a better decision! Alejandro is a highly educated instructor and a native Spanish speaker. He sought to understand my son's interests and include them in his lessons. My son always looks forward to his Spanish lessons. I have been able to trust that Alejandro is an excellent teacher and knows the most effective way to learn a new language, and I have left my son's Spanish education completely to Alejandro's judgement: what books to use, what assignments to do, etc. My son was well prepared (in both speaking and writing) and confident going into the AP Spanish language exam last year. He scored a 5 thanks entirely to Alejandro (my son does not take any Spanish in school)! My younger son has now started lessons three times a week with Alejandro and is likewise enjoying and looking forward to his lessons. I can not recommend Alejandro highly enough! I hope he will be able to continue teaching my sons throughout their entire high school careers. He is able to plan and manage a course of instruction so everyone can relax and enjoy learning. He is also a kind and thoughtful person who we enjoy working with.
