About Marta
I am a student enrolled in the specialist at UNINT - University of International Studies of Rome. I have a degree in Linguistic Mediation and Intercultural Communication (at the Gabriele D'Annunzio University of Pescara), I'm also native speaker as I am half Australian. I have been teaching privately to children of all ages for a year (ranging from 5 to 16 years old) and I have been offering babysitting services in English for the little ones.

My method can be defined as a total "full immersion" in the language. I try to speak Italian as little as possible, just to help understanding when necessary, otherwise I speak English for the entire duration of the lesson. I usually add a pinch of grammar with games and activities (based on the age of the student) to ensure that they'd actively participate and practice as much as possible. In addition, I dedicate a small portion of time at the end of the lesson to talk and discuss current topics, in order to practice in an interesting way.
