Hello!! I’m Ashlynn, an online English tutor who’s all about helping you get it — not just memorize it. Whether it’s the stress about essay writing, confusing comprehension passages and questions or even oral exam nerves, I break things down in a way that actually makes sense (and lowkey fun). My approach is super interactive, I will use a lot of bite-sized explanations, relatable examples, and constant encouragement. I use a mix of creative methods like storytelling, visuals, past paper practices, and memory hacks that match each student’s vibe and learning style. Lessons are typically 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on what you need that day (flexible timings available too!). I am currently a local polytechnic student who scored distinctions in English throughout secondary school, with experience helping juniors and peers improve in both compo and paper 2 skills. My lessons are perfect for: – Primary (P3–P6) and Secondary (Sec 1–Sec 4) – Students who want to boost their grades, build confidence, or finally understand what their teacher means by “elaborate further”.
