About Dhriti
Hi, I'm Dhriti!
I'm a Comp Sci student at Acadia University with experience as both a Teaching Assistant and Peer Tutor. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in Math, Statistics, and Computer Science by making challenging concepts easier to understand.
As a tutor, I create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop strong problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of the subject.
Through my work as a university Teaching Assistant and Tutor, I have helped students with coursework, assignments, exam preparation, and programming concepts. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to meet each student's individual needs and goals.
Whether you're looking to strengthen your fundamentals, prepare for an upcoming test, or gain confidence in a subject you've been struggling with, I'm here to help you succeed. Together, we can make learning more enjoyable, effective, and rewarding.

I believe every student can succeed when concepts are explained in a way that matches their learning style. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding of fundamentals rather than memorizing solutions. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop confidence in solving problems independently.
Teaching Methodology
Break complex topics into simple, manageable steps
Use real examples and practice problems to reinforce learning
Identify areas of difficulty and adapt explanations accordingly
Encourage active participation and problem-solving during sessions
Provide tips for studying efficiently and preparing for tests and assignments

Review previous material and address questions
Explain new concepts with examples
Work through problems together step-by-step
Let the student solve similar problems independently with guidance
Summarize key takeaways and discuss practice for the next session
What Sets Me Apart
