About Ellie
I have A levels in biology, chemistry and maths and a first class integrated master's degree in neuroscience from the University of Leeds. I'm currently in the second year of my industrial PhD studentship at Barts and the London studying white matter ageing. I have experience giving university level tutorials and am confident in providing support at lower levels.

I teach in a task based manner. I think it's important to use activities alongside feeding of information to encourage students to consolidate information and remember complex ideas around a topic. The ability to explain an idea in their own words is essential to develop understanding.
