Nice to meet you! I’m Spencer, a third-year math student at UofT. I tutor math ranging from Grade 1 through second-year university. I focus on building connection, intuition, and deep understanding.

Spencer has tutored me in math on and off on several occasions. He’s extremely knowledgeable and he’s able to explain things in a way that is easy to understand and always goes back to the basics to understand the foundation of what is being taught. And he does this with a great attitude, always smiling and motivated. He obviously loves math and is able to teach it really well.

Spencer is an excellent tutor! He has a real gift for connecting with kids of all ages and making math feel less overwhelming. By using each student’s interests, hobbies, and learning style, he explains difficult concepts in a way that actually makes sense. He helps kids truly understand what they’re learning instead of just memorizing numbers and formulas. The result is a child who not only improves their marks, but who walks away feeling more confident, capable, and proud of themselves. I highly recommend Spencer!
